Making a Fresh Orange Smoothie to Beat the Scorching Heat

Scorching summer heat is fast approaching and it is inevitable. We adore her flavor-packed, dairy-free breakfast smoothies during this season – not because we have to avoid dairy, but because they are so delicious with their abundance of fresh seasonal fruits, seeds, oats, and even a splash of maple syrup. The dairy has been replaced with almond milk and coconut water, and the addition of frozen banana adds a creamy smoothness to these healthy, energy-giving appetizers.

Ingredients:

  • 1 (6 ounces) can of frozen orange juice concentrate
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ⅓ cup white sugar
  • 10 cubes ice

Let’s make it!

Making it is very easy! You just have to blend together orange juice concentrate, milk, water, vanilla, sugar, and ice in a blender. Blend until completely smooth. Then we into serving glasses and serve.
